These agreements, orchestrated by the Central Bank of India as the sole banking entity, involve notable stakeholders including South Eastern Coalfields Ltd. (SECL), Ircon International Limited (IRCON), CSIDC, and CERL. The financial commitment for this undertaking is substantial, amounting to Rs 1,349 crore. With these financial intricacies secured, the Ministry of Coal affirmed the attainment of a critical milestone in the project’s journey towards financial closure. SECL’s stature as one of Coal India Limited’s premier coal-producing subsidiaries, with its noteworthy achievement of 167 million metric tons of coal in the previous fiscal year, underscores its role in powering the nation’s energy sector.
