PETITIONER URGES SC FOR SEBI EXPLANATION ON HINDENBURG

The petitioner is urging the Supreme Court to direct SEBI to explain its non-compliance with the specified timeline, set on May 17, for concluding the investigation and submitting the report in connected matters

Vishal Tiwari, the petitioner and advocate, has asked the Supreme Court to order the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to provide a justification for deviating from the deadline set by the highest court to conclude the Hindenburg report probe. Advocate Vishal Tiwari, who is the petitioner-in-person in the matter, apprised the top court that despite the deadline given to the SEBI it has failed to comply with the direction of the top court and has not submitted the final conclusion/report as per the directions of the Court.
