OP SINDOOR DEBATE: GOVT OVERSHADOWS OPPOSITION

But the opposition also showed unity and did not leave any opportunity to attack the government. From the government's side, stalwarts like Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, Leader of the House in Rajya Sabha JP Nadda took the lead, while from the opposition's side, leaders like Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, his sister Priyanka Gandhi, party's national president Mallikarjun Kharge and Gaurav Gogai stood in the field. Rest of the leaders of different parties including husband-wife i.e. Akhilesh Yadav and Dimple Yadav from Samajwadi Party attacked the government. Spokespersons speaking in both the houses were given full opportunity. In the Lok Sabha, the ruling party completely overpowered the opposition. Although in the Rajya Sabha, the leader of the opposition Mallikarjun Kharge appeared to have an upper hand over the government on the first day of the discussion. But on the rest of the day, the ruling party spokespersons dominated. At the end of the debate on Operation Sindoor, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while answering the opposition's questions one by one, exposed each and every flaw in the Congress regime.
