NSE & BSE set to break $10 trillion mark by 2030, say analysts

In a remarkable turn of events, the Indian stock market has achieved an unprecedented feat, soaring to a staggering USD 5 trillion market cap milestone within a mere six months.

This extraordinary achievement reflects a remarkable journey from USD 4 trillion in November 2023, defying the odds of FII pullouts and election uncertainties. Both the BSE and NSE indices have now joined the exclusive USD 5 trillion club, propelled by a wave of domestic institutional, retail, and HNI investors.
The recent surge in market capitalization has been attributed to the robust performance of domestic investors, including institutional players and high net-worth individuals, amid a notable withdrawal of Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs). Despite FIIs pulling out at least Rs 28,000 crore from the market in the current month, the Indian market has continued its upward trajectory, demonstrating resilience and confidence among local investors.
