Madras High Court Closes Plea Challenging ED's Notice To District Collectors | Sand Mining Money Laundering Case

The bench in the case closed the petition filed after the Advocate General informed the court that the petition filed had become infructuous since the collectors had already appeared before the investigation agency following the orders of the Supreme Court.

NEW DELHI The Madras High Court in the case State of Tamil Nadu v Directorate of Enforcement observed and has closed the petitions filed by State of Tamil Nadu wherein it challenged the summons issued by the Enforcement Directorate, ED to the District Collectors in connection with the probe of sand mining money laundering case.

The bench comprising of Justice SM Subramaniam and Justice M Jothiraman was hearing the present matter.
