'K'taka govt busy in politics to save position'

Basavaraj Bommai, a former chief minister of Karnataka, accused those in authority of engaging in politics in order to maintain their position in the state by criticizing the Congress government’s handling of the rain and flood situation in the state and in offering aid to those impacted.

Bommai claimed that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah spends the majority of his time mediating disputes within the ruling party and that there is competition among those in the government for corruption in the transfer business (transfer of government employees or servants), while the state’s law and order situation has gotten worse.
