KANT URGES FULL E-MOBILITY FOR INDIAN 2 AND 3-WHEELERS BY 2030

India's G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant emphasized the need to achieve 100 per cent electrification of two and three-wheelers by 2030. He also proposed a target of 65 per cent electric state public transport by the same year.
To achieve these goals, Kant stressed the importance of establishing a clear policy framework for electric mobility during a side event organized by the NITI Aayog on 'Policy Support and Enablers to Accelerate India's Electric Mobility. The event took place under India's G20 Presidency in Panaji.
