Indian Railways runs special trains for Chhath Puja

In an effort to accommodate the surge in passenger demand during Chhath Puja, the Indian Railways has undertaken a comprehensive plan, operating 283 special trains encompassing 4,480 trips.

These measures aim to facilitate the smooth movement of travelers and mitigate the extra rush experienced during this festive season.
These special trains are strategically designed to connect major destinations across the country, serving key railway routes like Delhi-Patna, Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, Danapur-Saharsa, Danapur-Bengaluru, Ambala-Saharsa, MuzaffarpurYesvantpur, Puri-Patna, Okha-Naharlagun, SealdahNew Jalpaiguri, KochuveliBengaluru, Benaras-Mumbai, Howrah-Raxaul, and more. This extensive network of special trains will enhance the convenience of rail travel for countless passengers.
