India brings 'Mission LIFE' to UN through special exhibition

India is currently hosting a special exhibition at the United Nations headquarters in New York, centered around the ‘Mission LiFE’ (Lifestyle for Environment) initiative. This collaborative effort was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UN Chief Antonio Guterres, with the aim of promoting sustainable living practices.

The two-day exhibition commenced on Wednesday and has drawn attendees including diplomats, UN dignitaries, and delegates. During her address to the gathering, India’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Ruchira Kamboj, stated, “We embark on an inspiring collective journey – the voyage of Mission LIFE!” She highlighted that Prime Minister Modi and UN Secretary-General Guterres introduced this initiative in October 2022, with the goal of uniting endeavors for a more ecologically friendly and sustainable future.
