HC Rejects Plea by 249 Cops, Orders B-1 Promotion Test with New Recruits

It is not necessary that the High Court interferes in every petition. When the tribunal has given a decision in accordance with the law, the High Court will not interfere in it.
Shock to 249 constables of Chandigarh Police: High Court rejects plea for exemption from promotion test, will have to give B-1 test with new staff
The Punjab and Haryana High Court has rejected the petition of about 249 constables posted in Chandigarh Police. All of them were recruited in 2007-08 and were demanding that they should not be included in the B-1 promotion test along with new constables, as they already have enough experience.
