HBL Power hits new high on positive outlook & increases 155%

HBL Power Systems (HBL) shares rose 7% on the BSE in intraday trade on Thursday in an otherwise quiet market on positive outlook, setting a record high of Rs 263.55.

On the strength of solid results, the shares of the auto components and equipments company has increased by 155% during the last three months. The S&P BSE Sensex, in contrast, was down 0.30 percent at 65,346 at 9:45 AM.The company’s primary activities include producing several types of batteries, including lead acid, nickel cad, silver zinc, and lithium, as well as railway and defense electronics, solar photovoltaic modules, and other goods.
