Government backs world's largest rice conference in Delhi

Union Food Minister Pralhad Joshi has extended his support to the upcoming Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC) 2025, calling it a key step in strengthening India's position in the global rice trade.
The event, slated for October 30-31 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, will convene stakeholders from across the rice value chain, from farmers and exporters to policymakers and global buyers."While we expand our presence in the global markets, we remain steadfast in protecting our citizens through a robust public distribution system that guarantees access to free and safe food grains ...
