Gold Prices Rise Sharply Amid Global Uncertainties

Gold prices climbed Rs 600 to Rs1,00,620 per 10 grams in the national capital on Thursday, supported by fresh buying from stockists and renewed safe-haven demand, according to the All India Sarafa Association.
The yellow metal of 99.9 per cent purity had settled at Rs1,00,020 per 10 grams on Wednesday.
In the national capital, gold of 99.5 per cent purity also rose by Rs500 to Rs1,00,200 per 10 grams, inclusive of taxes. It had closed at Rs99,700 per 10 grams in the previous session.
