DELHI HIGH COURT REJECTED PLEA CHALLENGING CAT 2024 RESULTS

The Delhi High Court in the case Aditya Kumar Mallick vs Union of India and Anr. observed and has dismissed the petition filed challenging the results of Common Admission Test, CAT 2024 for admissions in top management institutes.

The bench headed by Justice Tara Vitasta Ganju in the case rejected the petition filed by a candidate, Aditya Kumar Mallick, who is aggrieved with an incorrect answer to Question No. 18 from Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension Portion, thereby affecting the exam results.
In the present matter, Mallick sought setting aside of the exam results declared in December 2024.
Mallick also prayed that an expert committee be appointed to ascertain the correct answers.
The court while pronouncing the judgment stated that it found no reason to interfere with the exam results.
