In a landmark development that underscores the ongoing battle against financial malpractices in India’s stock markets, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed its final chargesheet in the high-profile National Stock Exchange (NSE) co-location scam.
The chargesheet, submitted before Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court, names former NSE Managing Director and CEO Chitra Ramkrishna, along with two other senior NSE officials—Mahesh Soparkar and Devi Prasad Singh, who headed the Product Management System (PMS) team responsible for co-location services.
