The Bombay High Court in the case observed and has directed the Mumbai civic body, MCB in order to ensure that there being no illegal goat sacrifice on the occasion of Bakri Eid at Nathani Heights, a society at Mumbai Central.

The Division bench comprising of Justice GS Kulkarni and Justice Jitendra Jain in the case observed and has stated that in the event of the Municipal Corporation has not issued a license in order to undertake slaughtering of animals at the said place, the officers of the Municipal Corporation with the aid of the police personnel shall take appropriate action in accordance with law for preventing slaughtering of animals proposed for Bakri Eid.
