On the auspicious occasion of Samvatsari Mahaparva, National President of All India Shwetambar Sthanakvasi Jain Conference, Atul Jain, while addressing the society, said that when the whole world is struggling with tension, violence and the horror of a possible world war, at such a time only the message of forgiveness and non-violence can save humanity.
He told that this festival is not only for self-purification, but is a powerful medium of world peace and mutual goodwill. Atul Jain said that the true solution is neither in wars nor in violence, but in forgiveness, dialogue and mutual trust. The day this feeling will settle in every heart, that day there will be a new dawn of peace and humanity. Quoting the immortal words of Lord Mahavir, he said that
