Airtel sees Rs 8,000 crore market opportunity

Bharti Airtel, a leading telecom operator in India, has introduced a Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) platform, claiming it to be the industry’s first omnichannel cloud solution.

The aim is to tap into a significant market opportunity in India, estimated to be around Rs 8,000 crore. This innovative platform aims to simplify and unify various components required for contact center operations, including voice, cloud services, and contact center software, all in a single, integrated solution.
Traditionally, businesses in need of contact center solutions have had to source these services separately from different vendors. This fragmented approach not only incurs higher capital costs but also requires more time and resources for integration and management. Airtel’s CCaaS offering seeks to address these challenges by providing a unified and affordable solution that combines Voiceas-a-Service (VaaS), cloud services, and best-in-class contact center software from leading providers, including Genesys.
