Air India to add 400+ weekly flights over next 6 mths

To strengthen its India network, the airline would add more than 200 weekly flights over the next six months on the back of expected new aircraft deliveries, Air India said in a release to the media. The flights would ply on several routes touching major Indian cities such as Delhi and Mumbai.

The airline planned to capture the growing demand for air travel in India by "densifying and expanding" the existing network, as Air India CEO and MD Campbell Wilson said in a statement.
