Adani Ports leads in climate actions and environmental performance

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd. (APSEZ) has secured the top position for its climate actions and environmental performance in assessments done by four global rating agencies.

According to a press release from Adani, APSEZ has been awarded the top position for its climate efforts and environmental practices by the CDP, which assigned the company a leadership band rating of "A-". This recognition reflects APSEZ's commitment to implementing best practices to address climate change risks and opportunities. The assessment by CDP, conducted on behalf of investors, involved over 23,000 companies worldwide, representing more than half of the global listed market capitalization and an asset under management (AUM) of over USD136 trillion.
APSEZ received an "A" rating, the highest possible, for its initiatives in emission reduction, climate governance, and risk management. This places APSEZ among the select few companies to achieve the leadership band designation each year.
