The conclusion of the India-European Union Free Trade Agreement (FTA) has triggered an outpouring of positive reactions across the world, with international media, foreign political leaders, business executives and policy experts unanimously describing the pact as historic in scale, strategic in intent and timely in the current geopolitical climate.

After nearly two decades of negotiations, the agreement brings together the world's largest economic bloc and the fastest-growing major economy, reshaping global trade dynamics.

Leading global media outlets have underlined both the ambition and the geopolitical significance of the deal.

The Telegraph termed it the "mother of all trade deals," asserting that India has emerged as the real strategic winner. It highlighted that tariffs on 96.6 per cent of EU exports to India will be eliminated or reduced, while the EU will slash tariffs on 99.5 percent of Indian goods over a seven-year period.

Bloomberg described the agreement as further evidence of New Delhi becoming the preferred partner for countries navigating global uncertainty, while The Wall Street Journal framed it as a response by middle powers to disruptions caused by shifting U.S. trade policies.
