A couple of award-winning restored films, Eddie Garcia's "Atsay” and Mike de Leon’s "Kakabakaba Ka Ba?" drew attention to Filipino film classics in two recently held film festivals
"Atsay,” starring Nora Aunor in another unforgettable portrayal, screened at Sinag Maynila fest.
"Kakabakaba Ka Ba?" screened as part of Cinemalaya. The film stars Christopher de Leon and Charo Santos in a funny romantic comedy of errors.
