President Ferdinand R. Marcos assured the public that the government has intensified its disaster preparedness efforts, pre-positioning relief packs and “go bags” nationwide in anticipation of future calamities.

In his latest vlog titled “Handa sa Sakuna,” the President said the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and local government units (LGUs) have stocked up food and essential supplies in warehouses across the country to ensure a quick response after earthquakes and other natural disasters.

“Sa amin naman sa pamahalaan, patuloy din ang maagap na paghahanda,” he said.
