A female medical officer of the New People's Army (NPA), facing multiple charges including crimes against humanity, arson, murder, and frustrated murder, was arrested by operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) during an operation in Malimono town, Surigao del Norte.
CIDG officer-in-charge Brig. Gen. Rolindo M Suguilon said the June 16 operation that led to the arrest of a certain “Jane” was part of the intensified manhunt operations against wanted persons and fugitives across the country.
