Navy rescues 30 crew, passengers of distressed boat

The Armed Forces Western Mindanao Naval Command rescued 30 crew and passengers of a motor launch stranded in the sea of Taganak Island, Tawi-Tawi province last Friday night, Jan. 16.
A Philippine Navy vessel, the BRP Magluyan (PC392), monitored a flashing light in the area. Closer inspection revealed the M/L Nurdia with a broken rudder and 30 passengers and crew
