Man riding stolen motorcycle nabbed at police checkpoint

A carnapper was arrested at a checkpoint in Barangay Balong Bato, San Juan City, on Sept. 8, the Eastern Police District (EPD) reported Tuesday, Sept. 9.
Based on the police report, officers of the San Juan City Police manning an Oplan Sita checkpoint in the barangay spotted a motorcycle with a broken headlight, prompting them to flag its rider who was also wearing slippers.
As part of its standard operating procedure, the police asked the rider to show his driver's license and ownership documents of his motorcycle.
However, he failed to produce his license nor any of the documents.
