Khobuntin rises from being a 2-way player
Tempo
|April 01, 2025
Of all the weapons that the TNT has, from the NBA caliber import Rondae Hollis-Jefferson to big guns in RR Pogoy and Calvin Oftana, it was the two-way play of Glenn Khobuntin that won them the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup.
And fittingly, the Tropang Giga which play like a swiss army knife, proved to be the dagger to the hearts of the Barangay Ginebra Kings.
Khobuntin delivered the crucial hits in the final frame and in overtime period on top of being the primary defender to Justin Brownlee who he helped force to commit two crucial turnovers down the stretch, right after the resident Ginebra import buried the clutch trey that sent the game to an extra period.
