Cruz wins first Finals MVP award

As emotional as Jericho Cruz was on the floor, he was just as lost for words after winning the PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup Finals Most Valuable Player award.
"Di ko maisip eh di ko mapinta kung ano yung mga words na dapat kong sabihin," admitted Cruz as he joined head coach Leo Austria during the post-game press conference after San Miguel reclaimed the all-Filipino Cup crown with a 107-96 victory over TNT in Game 6.
"Pero gusto ko mag thank you kay boss RSA (Ramon S. Ang) tsaka kay boss Al (Alfrancis Chua) kasi kinuha nila ako sa NLEX, gumanda’ yung buhay ko nung napunta ako sa San Miguel," he added.
