Lhey Marie Manginsay, a para table tennis athlete from Zamboanga Sibugay, has been chosen as the country’s flag-bearer during the opening ceremony of the 2025 Asian Youth Para Games in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on Dec. 10.
Manginsay, 22, made waves at the 2025 ITTF World Para Future Taipei in Taiwan last June where she and Jan Wildfreed Redulla snared the country’s lone gold medal in the mixed doubles class XDI7-Group 1.
