Freddy Gonzalez has stepped down from his role as senior national teams director and men’s national team manager for the Philippine Football Federation.
The federation made the announcement Tuesday evening, June 17, saying that Gonzalez has concluded his tenure after joining PFF in January last year.
The resignation of Gonzalez, however, caught football fans by surprise, but others believed it was bound to happen.
But Gonzales tried to leave the association peacefully.
