The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology-Negros Island Region (BJMP-NIR) released six Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) from the Negros Occidental District Jail-Male Dormitory in Barangay Tabunan, Bago City on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24.
Jail Chief Insp. Juniven Rey Umadhay, BJMP-NIR spokesperson, said they had cases of murder, reckless imprudence resulting in homicide, acts of lascivious conduct, homicide, grave threats, and violation of Republic Act (RA) 7166 (An act providing for synchronized national and local elections and for electoral reforms, authorizing appropriations therefor and for other purposes), and RA 9
