'Retaliation will disrupt peace'
Telangana Today - Hyderabad
|December 15, 2025
Sounding a caution against the provocative attacks of the Congress party targeting opposition workers, BRS working president KT Rama Rao warned that if his party cadre were forced to retaliate, the fragile balance of peace in Telangana could collapse and push law and order beyond control forcing the State into turmoil.
Rama Rao on Sunday visited the family of BRS activist Uppal Mallaiah in Lingampalli village of Nuthankal mandal in Thungathurthi of Suryapet. Mallaiah was killed in a violent clash involving Congress supporters ahead of the gram panchayat elections on December 9.
