PTCA Cricket Academy and Sai MJ Cricket Academy began their campaigns on a winning note in the CSR Winter Cup Under-14 Inter-Club One-Day Cricket Tournament, securing emphatic victories in their respective matches.
The tournament, jointly organized by Twentyfour Sports Management and Crickstar Rising (CSR) Academy, is currently underway at the Kodre Farms Cricket Ground on Sinhagad Road, Pune.
In the opening encounter, PTCA Cricket Academy produced a commanding performance, defeating Specialized Cricket Club by 264 runs. Batting first, PTCA posted a massive 427 for 3 in their allotted 45 overs, powered by an unbeaten innings of 221 from Samarth Pokale. The young batsman faced 134 balls, hitting 32 fours and 3 sixes, anchoring the innings with remarkable skill and aggression.
