Ramzan Food Stalls Turn to Coal and Sigdis

Pune : Ramzan food stalls across parts of the city are keeping the grills hot despite the ongoing LPG shortage by turning to traditional cooking methods such as coal stoves, sigdis and tandoors.

In busy Ramzan hubs like Kausarbaug and Camp, where crowds gather every evening for haleem, kebabs and biryani, caterers say traditional cooking techniques are helping them continue operations even as gas cylinder supplies remain limited.
