The Asmita Women's Swimming League, organised by the Pune District Amateur Aquatic Association (PDAAA) and conducted under the approval of Khelo India and the Sports Authority of India (SAI), witnessed stellar performances from Maharashtra swimmers, with several athletes securing gold medals in multiple events.
The competition took place at the Shri Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Mhalunge-Balewadi, drawing talented participants from across the region.
Among the highlights of the event, Shrungi Bandekar, Tvisha Dixit, Shridelekha Parikh, and Nandini Pethkar collectively won four gold medals. Meanwhile, Dakshita Dube achieved a remarkable triple crown, winning gold in three separate events.
