A WEST Surrey ice cream parlour has been crowned Parlour of the Year 2025, beating competition across the UK.

Scoop Company's ‘best in the UK' win is the cherry on top for Maria

The Warlingham-based parlour known as The Scoop Company has been named ‘best in the UK’ for 2025 as part of the awards ceremony held by the Ice Cream Alliance, the “UK's leading” authority in the frozen dessert industry.

The Scoop Company was credited with offering “indulgent” and “Instagrammable” desserts which customers can design themselves, but also managed to scoop the top spot for its “beautiful”, “photogenic” and “welcoming” parlour which is adorned in cherry blossoms.

Upon winning the award, the founder of the Warlingham establishment, Maria Grey, said she was “truly humbled and emotional” about the news, thanking every customer and member of staff for their contribution, but added that “there's so much more to come”, from new flavours to new creations and even a new location.
