A NEW riverside pub could be coming to a Surrey town with a whopping investment of more than £4.5m.
The former Surrey Advertiser building in Guildford could be transformed into a destination pub.
McMullen and Sons, a Hertfordshire brewery and pub company, has revealed its vision to regenerate the iconic Stoke Mill building in Woking Road into a new flagship development.
Owned by Reach Plc, the former news HQ of SurreyLive was bought by McMullen and Sons this month.
Staff have not worked in the office since the pandemic hit in March 2020.
Plans put forward include building a single-storey extension at the front and back of the offices, which are located on the River Wey Navigation.
