GUILDFORD Flames have said farewell to Brett Ferguson after seven seasons.

The Canadian forward, who also spent four seasons as captain, is the last of the original club that ushered Flames into EIHL play back in 2017-2018, his first term in Surrey.

Since that then, Flames have claimed the Patton Conference trophy, advanced to a pair of cup finals, had a near miss by just two points on a league title, and represented Spectrum several times at the play-off Final 4 event.

In 433 games, the 35-year-old native of Vibank, Saskatchewan, scored 120 goals and added 257 assists to sit 20th on the club's all time points listing with 377.
