Parents hit out at changes to bus routes

The words of Sunderland parent Sami Hunnam on the impact of changes to the Stagecoach 10 and 11 bus routes serving Pallion and Ford Estate.
Due to what Stagecoach has said are "longstanding parking difficulties" Midmoor Road is no longer served by the 10 and 11 bus services.
The original story highlighted the problems this is causing for the significant elderly population in the area as well as those living with disabilities.
Residents have submitted a petition to the city council calling for them to work with Stagecoach to reinstate the previous 10 and 11 routes.
