Harriers' Gunn storms to Kielder 10km glory

At the Kielder Running Festival, Sunderland Harrier Craig Gunn swept to glory winning the 10km in 34:15, writes Kevin Carr.

Phillip Jamieson (Gateshead Harriers) was second in 35:46 and Bryan Potts (Elvet Striders) was third in 36:36.
In the women's race, Olympic silver medallist, Laura Muir was a convincing winner on the tough course with a time of 37:15.
The 10km had been originally planned for the Saturday, but it was moved to the Sunday at the last minute due to Storm Amy.
In the Half Marathon event, Sunderland Harrier Natasha Steel warmed up for her upcoming Frankfurt Marathon, by finishing 73rd, posting a time of 1:41:16.
