From Sunderland to Lapland - enjoy magical sleigh ride

You can take a virtual reality sleigh ride with Santa in Sunderland this Christmas.
It's part of the festive lineup at The Bridges, which also includes the return of Santa's Ice Castle Grotto for the third year, offering children the chance to meet Father Christmas himself.
Here's how you can get in the Christmas spirit at the shopping centre:
Families can climb aboard Santa's magical VR sleigh ride for a snowy Lapland adventure.
The Magical VR Sleigh Ride is available until December 14, opening 10.30am to 6.30pm on Thursday, 10.30am to 4.30pm on Friday and Saturday and 11am to 3.30pm on Sunday.
Opening hours for the VR Sleigh Ride extend during the final week before Christmas, from 10.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Saturday, 11am to 3.30pm on Sunday, December 22, and 9am to 4pm on Christmas Eve.
