Curry restaurant expands to meet rising demand from hungry diners

"We're regularly having to turn people away because we're so busy, which isn't nice, so we decided to open a second room," explains the owner of one of the city's top-rated restaurants.

Since opening in Mary Street, in January 2023, Babaji has racked up dozens of awards, and recently made it into the British Curry Guide.
As well as competition judges, it's also proved a hit with diners and is regularly top-rated on various platforms.
Now, the team is turning up the heat with an expanded offering.
A former storage area upstairs has opened as a second room, adding 36 covers to the existing 64 downstairs.
