Some of the items supplied by the charity to Hidden on the Harbour.

Hidden on the Harbour café's Liam Downey is joining forces with the charity Camerados to offer support at the Seaham venue.

The charity creates 'public living-room' cosy places, even bringing in sofas, cushions and coffee tables to help create welcoming environments for people who may be socially isolated to meet, interact, socialise and build friendships.

Liam, 31, said: "I decided to sign up with Camerados after speaking to some of my regular customers.
