The importance of vastu in your home and workplace

Q: Hi Mahesh, I recently bought a house in Joburg and would like to know how to make it vastu-friendly. Does vastu really work? I checked online about vastu and it is so confusing. I also bought a business place. How can I apply vastu principles in business?
-
A: Vastu is more practical rather than theoretical. To attain a more peaceful, prosperous and healthy life, you should get a vastu consultant to examine your house. If need be, have it modified according to Vastu Shastra.
Vastu is an ancient science which helps one to get the maximum natural benefits from the natural elements of the universe, namely earth, water, fire, air and sky. Our bodies and the entire universe are made up of these five major elements.
Vastu is basically to construct and decorate your house or any property like business places, offices, factories, schools, hotels etc. using these five elements.
It is the medium to take maximum advantages of the magnetic effects present in the earth, solar and lunar energy, directions of wind and so on as it paves the way for happiness, sound health and prosperity. We can experience the examples of vastu around us.
Sometimes you may feel that in spite of having all the required resources for achieving success at work, you are unable to get your desired and deserved results. This should not come as a surprise as it could be due to the fact that either the office or factory is not planned according to the science of Vastu Shastra.
