SOUTH Africa’s music scene is currently buzzing for reasons that go beyond the beats.

Renowned DJs Shimza and Major League have captured attention with their remarkable weight loss transformations, showing that dedication to health can be as impressive as talent behind the decks.

Known for their electrifying performances and gruelling touring schedules, both acts have visibly transformed their physiques, leaving fans and fellow artists alike in awe.

For years, Shimza, born Ashley Raphala, has been one of the most recognisable faces in house music. Recently, however, fans have spotted a leaner, healthier version of the DJ.

Social media posts have sparked conversation about his fitness journey, with fans lauding the results.

"The transformation, you put in work! You look great, fam!" wrote Nadia Nakai on Instagram.

Zodwa Phiri joined in, commenting, "Well done on your weight loss. Keep pushing you look 10 years younger."
