Strictly Shirley emergency brain scan after fall... days ahead of tour start
Posting a message during cancer health scare
SHIRLEY Ballas has undergone an emergency brain scan after a horrific tumble into a glass dressing table.
The Strictly Come Dancing judge, 65, had the hospital test amid fears she had suffered a cracked skull.
Shirley's first husband Sammy Stopford, 69, sat with her all day in hospital while she anxiously waited to find out if there was any permanent damage.
She posted: "Thank you to all who reached out to see how I'm doing. Scary fall backwards hitting my head on the glass dressing table :(
"Trip to hospital to get a brain scan. Fortunately for me no cracked skull. I'll rest a few days to heal my neck and back. Gratitude as the Dr said I was very lucky."
