SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY boss Henrik Pedersen expressed sympathy for the Owls' travelling supporters after the match at Blackburn was abandoned after an hour due to a waterlogged pitch.

But it was more frustrating for Rovers, who led 1-O and saw a second game of the season abandoned due to the weather.
In a cruel twist of fate, Valerien Ismael's men came into this game after conceding a late equaliser in the rearranged fixture against Ipswich - a game they were also originally on course to win 1-0.
