Lamps' men shine as Rudoni leaves it late to steal show

JACK RUDONI'S goal four minutes into stoppage time gave Coventry their fourth win in a row with a narrow victory over Stoke.

Haji Wright headed Frank Lampard's Championship leaders ahead before Ben Gibson equalised on the stroke of halftime with what proved to be the Potters' only shot on target.

Rudoni capitalised on an error from the onrushing Tommy Simkin at the death to put Coventry eight points clear of second-placed Middlesbrough, who travel to Birmingham tomorrow.

The last-gasp defeat meant Stoke, managed by former Coventry manager Mark Robins, have just one win in their last nine games.
