Scarlett on Jurassic Park dream & letting daughter, 10, see the film

- BY JANINE YAQOOB TV and Showbiz Editor

SCARLETT Johansson says starring in Jurassic Park is her childhood dream come true.

The US actress plays the lead in the latest film in the hit Hollywood franchise after pleading for a part.

And she even offered herself up to be devoured by the dinosaurs.

The Avengers star, 40, says: "I've been asking my agents for years, 'Please get me in a Jurassic Park movie'. I was like, 'I don't even care if a T-Rex eats me in the opening credits, I just want to be part of it'.

"Thankfully they agreed to give me a little longer - and I don't get eaten in the first five minutes."
