- BY LEE RYDER

ANTHONY ELANGA urged his Newcastle teammates to build on their sparkling performance in Europe to get their Premier League season back on track.

The Magpies were in free-scoring mood, sweeping Belgian side Union SG aside 4-0 in their Champions League clash in Brussels on Wednesday.

Elanga had a hand in three of those goals and faces his former team Nottingham Forest today hoping to open his account for the Toon, having failed to score in nine appearances since his £55million move from the City Ground.

GOD ONLY KNOWS WHAT WE'D BE WITHOUT YOU

A bonafide masterpiece celebrating 60 years, Brian Wilson’s answer to Rubber Soul began a back and forth with The Beatles that inspired Sgt Pepper! Wilson’s mental health was deteriorating but a fortunate by-product was his obsession with sound, and he’d spent days in the studio transforming a surf rock outfit into Baroque pop originators.
